Thank You
We Invite You To Be A Supporter Too!
Thank you to all those who have given of their time and resources to build and sustain Gateway Community Garden. Without broad support from the community and the Town of Huntington, the garden would never have been built and would not still be a vibrant, green space in Huntington Station.
Special thanks go to the Townwide Fund of Huntington, which has made repeated grants to the garden for both educational programs and gardening necessities. The Townwide Fund is a group that came together with the goal of helping their neighbors in need. Their mission is to raise funds within the community to assist local charities. Since its inception, the Townwide Fund of Huntington has raised more than $15 million and continues to infuse local health and human service organizations with the support they need to help the residents of Huntington. More than 30 local charitable organizations are partnered with the Townwide Fund of Huntington to improve the quality of life in our community.
The Family Service League also played a crucial role, holding the Huntington Town license for the garden in 2015 while a transition was under way from management of the garden by the Long Island Community Agriculture Network to a new non-profit, Gateway Community Garden, Inc., formed by the gardeners.
In addition to the businesses and organizations listed below, numerous individuals have also contributed to sustaining the garden. Thank you for your belief and support of this project.
